JCHS students from Mr. Dues government class toured the State House. It was a pleasure to speak with them about the way our government works here in the state. Best of luck to all of them.
Department of Labor Hearing
April 23, 2010. This week I had the opportunity to testify at the Labor Department’s hearing on worker classification. I voiced my concerns about reclassifying workers in the private sector and expressed concerns about those that want to remain as independent contractors. They should not be forced to reclassify their job description.
